Sling Media Broadcaster / TV tuner

SlingMedia's SlingBox SB150-120

Advantages: "Free" TV from the other side of the world... where-ever you are!
Disadvantages: Really none I can think of that concern the device itself

This review is actually based on my use of the Japanese version of this product, SlingMedia's Sling Box SB150-120. The UK model is the SB150-110, and as far as I have been able to establish (from friends actually using it on my advice), the UK model differs from the Japanese model only in respect of the TV Tuner. The UK Model * I am told * features a TV Tuner that is DVB/FreeView capable (which would not work in Japan anyway) and is of course based on the PAL TV system (whereas Japan's model uses NTSC like America). The device itself is smaller than you may expect, and most definitely ugly, but you can't really hold that against it, particularly when there is no reason why it has to be on view (there are no IR remote sensors on the front, for example). VIRIGN MEDIA - TV - INTERNET

Advantages: Good range of on demand services - upto 50MB internet
Disadvantages: Hardware problems - bad customer service - High prices

Virigin media offer - Broadband, Television, mobile phone, and a telephone service. Television; The On demand service which covers - music - catchup - tv choice - movies and interactive. This basically allows you to demand music videos, movies, the best of the weeks television, a wide range of movies when - from classics to new films - and on tv choice on demand you can choose anything from comedy classics to documentaries. Quite a lot of channels and a wide range of TV packages - i currently have the XL package which offers free access to all on demand services except movies. The channel layout is good - but it does change quite a lot - mostly without warning - although this wont matter if you have set your favourite channels as they will still exist but with the new numbers. The Best baba Sling

Advantages: comfy, colourful, handy, small to store
Disadvantages: Hard to do the first time

I am writing this review after buying this product after i seen it in Eastenders! I hope my review is hepful. **Packaging** The sling comes in a white and purple box which has a clearbit on the back so you can see the colour of the sling inside. The front has a picturewith a woman holding her baby inthe sling. On one side there is drawings of the 8 different posistions for carrying. And on the other side there is a brief desciption of what the baba sling is and does. The sling itself folds down quite compacty.
