Advantages: Good communication and a prompt well packaged delivery. Disadvantages: None at all with this transaction.
My Sling Media SlingCatcher arrived within 48 hours of placing the order (which when you consider that I ordered it over a weekend is pretty swift delivery!). It was well packaged, and Digital-Fusion.co.uk kept me informed from placement of the order to dispatch of the package using City Link. You really can't ask for more than that. I'd definitely recommend Digital-Fusion.co.uk to others, and will purchase from them again in the future.
I have my Sling Media Catcher connected to a TV in a property abroad, with the Sling Box Pro HD hooked up to my SKY HD box in my UK property. It works a treat, and with surprisingly good quality. HD channels don't suffer too badly, for being streamed through the internet, and not having to watch TV on your laptop is a huge boost. The SlingCatcher works as you'd expect your SKY box to work in the UK ...
Advantages: "Free" TV from the other side of the world... where-ever you are! Disadvantages: Really none I can think of that concern the device itself
This review is actually based on my use of the Japanese version of this product, SlingMedia's Sling Box SB150-120.
The UK model is the SB150-110, and as far as I have been able to establish (from friends actually using it on my advice), the UK model differs from the Japanese model only in respect of the TV Tuner.
The UK Model * I am told * features a TV Tuner that is DVB/FreeView capable (which would not work in Japan anyway) and is of course based on the PAL TV system (whereas Japan's model uses NTSC like America).
The device itself is smaller than you may expect, and most definitely ugly, but you can't really hold that against it, particularly when there is no reason why it has to be on view (there are no IR remote sensors on the front, for example).
It comes with all the cables, software, and instructions you will require ...
Advantages: comfy, colourful, handy, small to store Disadvantages: Hard to do the first time
I am writing this review after buying this product after i seen it in Eastenders! I hope my review is hepful.
**Packaging**
The sling comes in a white and purple box which has a clearbit on the back so you can see the colour of the sling inside. The front has a picturewith a woman holding her baby inthe sling. On one side there is drawings of the 8 different posistions for carrying. And on the other side there is a brief desciption of what the baba sling is and does. The sling itself folds down quite compacty. Would fit within a nappy bag and even comes with it's own matching little carry bag (see pics
**How Does It Work**
The baba sling works using two buckles that go around your back and a hammock style piece of material that your baby just slides into. You put the sling on first and adjust the straps so that they feel ...
