Advantages: Small, sober, semi-automatic transmission, strongly built
Disadvantages: poor engine, hard suspension, ridiculous boot, expensive

Our best ever decision was to buy a diesel Smart

Advantages: Incredible economy, no Road tax, no congestion charge, tiny insurance
Disadvantages: Vulnerable, and you need to learn how to use the gearbox to best advantage
