Smash Hits 2000

I've already told you about last year's concert, now after this years tour i can tell you that the concert was yet again great!!!

I think the fact that the Smash Hits concert seem to be able to get such great line up's help to create the electricity from the audience. I didn't see any unhappy faces leaving the concert anyway, (although i was extremely annoyed through my fave bands Westlife, A1 and Point Break as someone in the row in front (2nd row) insisted in putting her banner up blocking my view).

Anyway some of the bands that were there were Westlife, A1 and Point Break (as i mentioned) which kept me happy, and for the boys there were girl bands like Atomic Kitten and Supersisters.

I was very pleased by one of the acts up for the best new tour act. They are another boyband called "Reel", they're Irish, they can sing and proved that by singing accapella when they came on stage and can play 15 instruments between them!!! If you are going to be watching the Smass Hits Pollwinners Party tomorrow (10 December) then make sure you look out for them, i'm now feeling confident that they are going to win the award, as everyone i've spoken to loves them!!

There was one thing that disappointed me and that was that half of the acts that were supposed to be at the tour when the tickets went on sale weren't there (examples are Dum Dums, Sonique and Billie), also everyone i knew that went to the concert in Glasgow never got a card to vote for the best new tour act, so i couldn't show my support for the next big band!!

I did enjoy myself though, but i don't think it was as good as last year. It certainly doesn't mean that i'll not be there next year though. I'll be first in the que!!!!
