Advantages: Don't need a lot so good value for money Disadvantages: Doesn't last all day
Avon has changed the name of this foundation once again, it is now called 'Personal Match CreamToPowderFoundation'.
My sister, who is an Avon Representative, gave me a sample of this foundationto try out. I was rather impressed by it so next time I got the Avon book, I ordered a full size compact. The foundation is in a black plastic compact with the Avon logo on the front, open it up and inside is the foundation, mirror and a sponge applicator. The compact comes in a small black cardboard box, with the Avon logo and product name. The foundation itself is very creamy and thick, and you don't need a lot to get a good coverage, it dries to a powder so you don't then need a seperate face powder on top. It blends easily and doesn't end up looking orange or 'caked on' like some other creamy foundations. It claims to reduce shine ...
Advantages: Lightweight Compact, comes with a sponge applicator, long lasting Disadvantages: gives an ashen and unnaturally light complexion, dries out skin and highlights dry areas
the foundation being my complexion. The coverage wasn't fantastic and I still ended up using liquid foundation on top of it, although it did last, but it did not smoothing over as lines appeared during the day and pronounced the creases on my face. The foundation does though last a long time, as only a small application is needed with the sponge provided; bearing in mind a lot of foundation is actually absorbed by the sponge.
I decided that the foundation wasn't for me and was quite disappointed as I had hardly used much of it, however I now use it when trying to achieve the natural look and team it with my other favourite foundation and loose powderto compensate for the lack of colour the Sleek CreamtoPowder takes away from my complexion and definitely a sweep of bronzer :D
The compact is lightweight and the foundation comes with a sponge ...
Advantages: Anti-Blemish ingredients and a lovely smooth feeling. Disadvantages: Rather pricey!
pores and acne scars. Clinique state that this powder has a matte finish, and a sheer to medium coverage.
A great factor for me is that Clinique state that this powder has an 'innovative formula' contains anti-blemish ingredients, this will obviously be perfect for my skin. It says a benefit is that it helps keep skin clear and controls oil.
It says to apply the foundation after the 3-step skin care system using the sponge to ensure a smooth application. I am currently using Clinique's Anti-Blemish range Step 2 (Clarifying Lotion) and Step 3 (Moisturiser). I don't know any of their face soaps everyday, however Step 2 and 3 have been great for me, but I wouldn't imagine them being important if you wanted to use just this powder!
It comes in 4 shades, 01 being the lightest and 04 being the darkest, it isn't recommended for any ...
