Our one of these does look really smart, it has to be said. It replaces a slimline AEG (i broke the aeg one).
This was fine for us until I replaced our dinner service with a denby one. For these plates to get clean we can only put them in 'every other slot' thereby halving the capacity of the machine.
The cutlery holder is bizarre and just doesn't fit with the mix of utensils I use (i split it half for individual cutlery pieces and half for larger cutlery pieces - the first section is always fuller, weighs more and tips the whole container over). All in all, I miss my AEG, I could fit more in it. This Smeg does clean ok - as long as you don't overload it at all.
