expensive, but worth it
Advantages looks great, loads of fridge room
Disadvantages freeze compartment in fridge a nuisance as defrosts when you open the door too much
We bought this fridge because we never had enough room inour standard fridge. It was expensive (around £800) but we are delighted with it.
Firstly, it looks good which is very important in a free standing appliance. We looked at cheaper copies, but none of them were up to the same build quality. The door is solid and chunky, handle easy to use.
We chose the silver finish at it looks sleek and trendy, but timeless. It polishes up beautifully with no effort.
Inside it is easy to clean. The plastic fittings are of excellent quality and there is just stacks of room.
There are lots of door compartments for milk, butter eggs, drinks cans and other such items. There is a stainless steel bottle rack along the top to store large bottles horizontally, and we find that useful.
There is a nice big salad drawer and another plastic drawer with a lid that we use for veg.
Lastly on the interior, loads of shelf space. We planned a meal for 22 with puddings and it all fitted in.
It is very quiet. Doesn't seem to make those funny fridge noises.
The only bad point is the integral freezer compartment.
Quite honestly, we didn't want it, but you get it so what can you do.
If you are frequently opening the door, or leave it open for long it will drip, which is very annoying.
However not enough to put me off. We'd buy another!
