I've had my Smeg Combination Microwave oven with grill & rotisserie since just before Christmas 2002. My word, but it's fantastic! With deep and experienced suspicion of Italian electrics (ex-Ducati and Alfa Romeo owner) I had my doubts when it turned up, but I take it all back. This machine cooks & microwaves, cooks & grills, microwaves, then grills, microwaves then cooks then grills ... and the rotisserie is a hoot. The grill folds down to make ... ...to clean the roof. The plate and grilling rack all to in the dishwasher, and it comes with a large flan type dish and a little rotisserie dish with a very suggestive spike to stick up your chicken. An all polished stainless interior looks lovely, but it's a little *!X to clean, and I would advise wiping it over after EVERY use, however inconvenient it is or who's getting hungry. You can scrub it, and cream cleanser gets most things off, but fan ovens ...

Do not, repeat DO NOT buy this machine. As good as it looks it is totally inadequate as a dishwasher. Whoever designed it has clearly never seen or used a dishwasher in their lives. The wire racks are so shallow none of your plates will stand up... more
