TY Beanies are adorable, there is no wonder my friends and I were crazy for these little soft toys. The TY beanies came in all sorts of varieties, whether animal or bear. They each had their own special name, and between us, my friends and I owned and could name pretty much every one going!
One of the teddies is a cat who goes by the name of Fancy. Straight away, this name seems very appropriate to me. She definitely does look quite fancy, a posh kitty indeed. But it's her fur that makes connections for me. She is made of a very soft, almost silky, clean white fur. This reminds me slightly of the cream you get in Fondant Fancies, so naturally I could make a connection with her name straight away. My son is obsessed with transformers and went on and on for a bumblebee costume he had seen in an argos catalogue.
He was then invited to a fancydress birthday party which was the perfect opptunity to buy the costume he longed for!
I looked around the shops to compare the prices but all the shops were the same at £21.99, Bit pricey in my eyes but kids will be kids!
The catalogue stated that it was for ''ages 5-7'', My son is 5 years old so i thought it was perfect as he would get plenty of wear out of the costume.
Before i bought the costume i wanted to see if it would fit, out of the packet ond onto my son and it was perfect fit, A little bit short on the arms but almost perfect,
it then got me thinking about the fact the catalogue stated it was for a 5-7 year old???? This costume would not fit anyone over 5.
