Snickers!

Advantages: sweet, has the right blend of ingredients
Disadvantages: too much calories, unhealthy

Snickers is the best selling chocolate bar and has an annual sales of $2 billion. Snickers was first made in 1930 by the Mars family. It was named after one of their favorite horses. Snickers was marketed in England as the Marathon bar. It was changed to Snickers as a way of standardizing brands in 1990. It is composed of peanut butter nougat, topped with peanuts and caramel and coated in milk chocolate. Snickers is usually eaten as is but the United States and Australia have it as a fried delicacy. The Snickers bars have a campaign in which the word "hungry" is used. This suggests Snickers as a quick snack. Its not healthy but it could give you an immediate boost in energy. for the health conscious people out there. Here is the nutritional information of Snickers. Nutrition Facts Serving Size: (100 grams) Amount Per ...

Review of Mars Snickers

Snickers Bar

Advantages: A great tasting treat
Disadvantages: none

Have you ever wondered how they come up with the names for these products? Snickers, a very unusual and catchy name, but I wonder where the name originated? this is where good old Google steps to the rescue, it tells us that Snickers was initially marketed in the 1930`s and believe it or not the chunky chocolate bar was named after a horse that was owned by the Mars Family!...If you don't ask you will never know! As well as the normal sized chocolate bar Snickers is available in King size, Fun size and miniatures. There is the milk chocolate version which is my favourite but there is also a dark chocolate Snickers bar and an Almond snickers bar. As expected the Snickers bar is calorie laden, in fact it has 266 calories in every bar. It also seems that the bar was originally introduced to the UK under the name of the Marathon bar ...

DON'T GET YOUR SNICKERS IN A TWIST!

Advantages: Delicious, usually cheap, widely available, lots of different tastes
Disadvantages: Can be sold more expensive, nutrition information, not suitable for nut allergies

DON'T GET YOUR SNICKERS IN A TWIST! HISTORY Mars Mars is a well known company around the world, and I'm pretty sure almost everybody you ask in the UK will have heard of at least five Mars Products. The Mars Headquarters remain in Virginia USA, however the products are sold world wide. The most famous Mars product, is namely the Mars Bar, however there are many other delicious and well known confectionary items produced by Mars, such as Twix, Malteasers, Skittles and the classic Topic bar. Recently, in April 2008, Mars inc. bought the worlds largest chewing gum company, Wm. Wrigley Junior, and now there sales are expected to go up by $27 billion, and are due to take over Cadburys Schweppes as the worlds largest confectioner. Mars was founded in 1911 by a man called Frank Mars. One of Mars' first most popular and well known ...
