Ride Timeless
Review of Ride Timeless by borisian31

Advantages: probably one of the best boards on the market
Disadvantages: Won't except anything less than full throttle

...decided to go for the ride timeless, and here's why : General Performance The timeless is mainly a freeride board and for this kind of riding it's exceptional. But you can also count of it for all round mountain performance. You can literally take this board to mach 3 and it will still be smooth and responsive, no chatter to speak of. This means that it is not a board for the feint hearted (no pussys please) and it’s just not happy to go at any ...
...the board is made. Ride boards tend to have the pieces which are non-critical to performance cut out to make the boards lighter and this gives them a characteristic look. The 37° angle refers to the way should be ridden, right up on its edges and fast. Aggression Core: The core of the board is made up of wood and carbon which makes it nice and light RideGlide Sintered Fusion Base: For speed you just can’t beat this base. Instead of being totally ... Read review

White powder that will make you HIGH
Review of Burton Supermodel by Nadal

Advantages: supurb allrounder
Disadvantages: not for the freestylers

...Established in1977 a Jake Burton created ‘Burton Snowboards’ in Londonderry, Vermont, producing the first Burton board, the ‘Backhill’. Since then Burton has established itself as ‘the’ premier snowboard making company and has produced countless boards, and countless champions have ridden with Burton. The Supermodel is a model I picked up two years ago, since then Burton have discontinued production of this board, ...
...at the back of board racks in some shops. I would especially recommend picking one up second hand provided it’s in good condition. Before I go into reviewing the board, perhaps I’d better make clear the viewpoint from which I’m reviewing this product. I’ve been boarding for two years now. I’m 6 foot, and 13 stone. As far as my skill level goes, I’m still a relative beginner. No problems on the slopes or off piste, ... Read review

The Clash
Review of Burton Clash by biffyclyo89

Advantages: awesome graphics, handles well, good price
Disadvantages: none that i can find

...For the freestyler in you, Burton has put in a Super Fly core which allows great air stability. If your looking for a good all around board for a good price, go for the clash! Dont know much about snowboards? explained: This is an all mountain board, this means it doesnt specialise in one particular type of riding but suits all. It is symmetric to allow for half pipe or freestyle use but can also just generally be used for normal riding. As is ... Read review

The best amature board
Review of Burton Custom X by sonyduo

Advantages: Flexible, excellent design, super construction and finish
Disadvantages: Expensive

...this board. I had Burton Mission bindings and some Soloman boots and this seemed to be a excellent combi for me. The only problem or niggle i had with this board it that the top surface is so easy to scratch. I had a scag skier ride over the edge of my board and got some real scratches in there. The base of the board is excellent however in my opinion it takes a lot of work to keep the surface in good condition. Not really a long term board i don't ...
...to the tips. The construction is excellent, i did get a few chips in the board but it really has been bounced about all over the place. At the end of the day i love this board simply of the quality and the amazing feel you get through it. The ability to be able to feel and judge the powder just makes this a excellent aid to inproving and taking the next step to becoming a pro. Bought the board for around £400 and it's earned its money and stil ... Read review

Womens Burton Feelgood ES 2005
Review of Burton Feelgood by mamboitaliano90

Advantages: Great Snap, Responsive and the lightest board on the market for women!
Disadvantages: non that l have found yet!

this board is fast and responsive. I always thought is was all about the rider not the board but this taught me otherwise! Handles excellently and great over choppy terrain ideal for both park and piste. The edges are stain less steel which means that this is a very low maintenance board. The base is an infinate ride which means it is very durable. Due to the base being pre impregnated with wax there is a base ofr the first wax you do to build on. ... Read review
