'Feet Dreams' is a gel that promises to invigorate and cool tired legs. I got it from Boots for 3.33p,as all 'Soap and Glory' products had a third off for a limited time.
The Packaging: The product comes in a 500ml pump action bottle, with the usual funny slogans that are typical of 'Soap and Glory'. This time in white writing over a pink background,it reads : 'IN DEAL WITH THE DEVIL,DESPERATE WAITRESS TRADES PERPETUALLY PUFFY ANKLES FOR LIFETIME SUPPLY OF...FEET DREAMS'
The bottle is clear,so it enables you to see the gel inside, which is a light green in colour. The label covering most of the front of the bottle is baby pink in colour and says 'Feet Dreams' in bold black and pink writing. It says that it is 'Formulated to fight foot fatigue, hydrate and relieve inflated legs' The side of the bottle gives instructions on how to apply the product and also gives you a hint about using it in the summer to cool your body down. In regards to this it says : 'Keep your Cool,Dab Feet Dreams onto pulse points on hot and humid days for instant cooling..not only is it easier to install than air conditioning, its a greener alternative to air conditioning' A list of ingredients is also given at the side and a sign saying that 'Soap and Glory' do not test on animals. However true to the companys form they put it in a more interesting way: 'Soap and Glory formulas are NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS...only very picky people'
The product itself:
Working long hours,I thought that this product would be ideal for giving some life back to my tired feet, and I wasnt wrong. The gel smells like fresh Kiwis. I've never experienced a scent that smells so much like a fruit before, you could be mistaken in thinking that it was made of pure kiwi juice..just less sticky!
When its applied to your feet and calfs,it instantly cools your feet, however being March its maybe not so much of a good idea, because it makes you feel absolutely frozen and want to put your heating up a notch! However I have no doubt that in the summer this product would instantly cool you down, regardless of having tired feet or not.
It instantly made my feet and legs feel better and more awake. The only advice I would give, which is pretty obvious is to make sure you are sitting down when you apply it,as otherwise youll walk it into the carpet!
Does it absorb easily? Yes and no. It absorbs pretty easily, however I'm sure that there are other products on the market that would absorb a little quicker. However its still a product that is mess - free and certainly doesnt take ages to absorb.
What effects does it have on your skin?
Well, apart from the fact that it cools and revives your legs,it also makes them extremely silky in texture. It doesnt achully state that it will do this, however it does and makes your skin feel very hydrated and smooth.
Would I recommend it?
Yes,especially if you see it at the price I picked it up for. 3.33p for 500ml is very good value in my opinion and it also lasts a long time as only a small amount is needed for large coverage.
I'd especially recommend it if you work long hours on your feet as it will genuinly make your feet feel alot better.
Advantages: cooling, nice smell Disadvantages: takes ages to sink in
Having seen the Soap and Glory range in magazines and written about on here and other review sites, I was itching to try it, and this was my first ever Soap & Glory product. I chose Feet Dreams, a cooling gel for the legs and feet, as I am finding more and more frequently that when I come home from shopping trips, even if I have been wearing flat boots with thick socks underneath, my feet are burning up from all the walking I've done. Oh, how us ... ...Feet Dreams~
