Advantages: Gorgeous smell and lovely smooth skin. Disadvantages: Expensive but you do get a big tub of it.

This was the first time I had bought anything from Soap & Glory and I'd heard such good reviews of this range that I wanted to try some of their stuff! This Sugar Crush Body Scrub was one of the 3 products I bought.
The first thing you notice about this product is the size of it. It comes in a huge 450ml tub and it weigh's quite hefty. The packaging ... ...the brown sugary and grainy substance in it.
The lid is a lovely turquoise blue twisty lid and has The Sugar Crush Body Scrub wrote on it.
On the back there isn't long instructions. It simply says to use the scrub in the shower once, twice or three times weekly. A warbubg states that this scrub should not be used on irritated or abraded skin, and it also warns you that this is not food. Although it looks like it is!

This Sugar Crush Body Scrub was one of the 3 products I bought.
The first thing you notice about this product is the size of it. It comes in a huge 450ml tub and it weigh's quite hefty. The packaging of the tub is clear and you can clearly see the brown sugary and grainy substance in it.
The price of this tub is a rather pricey £8.81 at the moment with the VAT cut. This is quite expensive and I probably wouldn't have bought it if it hadn't been on offer.
The aim of this scrub is for people with dry, flaky and rough skin and the ingredients helps make your skin feel more smooth and gorgeous. It does say on the back use in the shower, but I use this scrub fine in the bath.
When you unscrew the lid you will find a flad turquoise covering over the scrub to protect it. The first time I opened the lid of this scrub before even lifting the lid I was hit with the smell. It was a truly yummy smell! You see thie Body Scrub is made with brown sugar, sweet lime, almond oil and macadamia grains. I really could smell a sweet lime smell but it wasn't sickly, there really isn't enough words to truly describe how nice this stuff smells. I finally lifted off the little lid and underneath I saw the scrub, and it had that lovely 'just poured' effect that you can get on little squares of chocolate or tubs of margarine. This just made it look even more yummy! When I scooped out a small portion with my fingers I noticed a wonderfully grainy thick texture and again the smell was just everywhere.
You only need a small amount of this product to spread over your body, and it spreads nicely. I rubbed it in and it did an excellent job on my skin. I don't actually have any badly dry areas of skin on my body, but this scrub really did leave my skin feeling smooth and silky soft. It didn't leave my skin red raw, and you don't have to be too rough with this scrub as it's lovely and grainy. I can imagine this stuff being great on your thighs as it's grainyness reminds me alot of the Lush Buffy Body Bar.
I really recommend this scrub to people, get rid of your boring shower gels and get this! It's so scrummy and yummy you have to try hard not to eat it!
Advantages: Lovely smell, works Disadvantages: None
Sugar Sugar
Soap and Glory is one of my favourite beauty ranges. I recently found myself with quite a lot of Boots Advantage points so I decided to treat myself to one of their products as some of their items can be a bit pricey. I had read a lot about the Soap and Glory Spa Sugar Crush so I decided to give that a try.
Sugar Crush is basically a big tub of body exfoliator/scrub intended to remove any scaliness on your skin as the product itself ... ...good enough to eat!
Soap and Glory recommend that you use this product in the shower once, twice or three times a week depending on the level of scaliness you want to eradicate! They even go so far as to say even four times if you’ve ever been called “old lizard legs.” This is another example of their quirky wording and marketing on their products. The scrub leaves my skin feeling really smooth and lovely. The almond oil makes it really smooth too ...

Advantages: Effective and Luxurious, smells gorgeous and looks good in your bathroom. Disadvantages: If you like the scent of a product to linger then this one doesn't.
I have used various Soap & Glory products in the past with varying results and hadn't found anything that had grabbed my attention enough to make me purchase it again....until now that is! This Sugar Scrub is truely fabulous! I've got to admit that first and foremost it is the packaging that draws me towards this range, it's cool, it's funky, it's retro looking and it looks fab in your bathroom, but all that aside, I actually want a product that ... ...This scrub is part of Soap & Glory's Spa range and is £9.00 for a large 450ml tub, which seems quite expensive, but as you start to use it you realise that you only need a small amount and that it will actually last for quite a while as it is a product which you only need to use about 2-3 times a week, or (as the packaging says!) 4 times a week if you've ever been labelled "old lizard legs" An example of their quirky way with words! The 4 main ingredients ...

Advantages: Smells like lime candy Disadvantages: Cant eat it :(
...it another go. Soap & Glory always reminds me of a cheaper version of Benefit, with similar retro packaging and slogans. What first attracted me to this brand was that I had seen it appear on LOADS of TV shows such as How to Look Good Naked, and always got rated highly...then the fact it would look pretty on the bath came next. The Sugar Crush Scrub is from the Spa range of Soap & Glory products, and comes in a giant 450ml tub. The appearance of ... ...generally have promotions on the Soap & Glory range so best to have a look at what they have on at the time. With Christmas coming up I would definately reccommend this as a gift for someone (make sure they dont have a complex about having dry skin as it may offend lol) and I am certainly not hiding it back in the cuboard. Advantages: Gorgeous smell, very effective Disadvantages: High price
...loved some of the other Soap and Glory products, I was drawn in by Boots' latest offer of 3 for 2 on the range. I love body scrubs, but only if they're really gritty enough to make a difference - sometimes the grains are so fine that you can't tell you've used them. Maybe I'm just a masochist but I love that scrubby feeling in the shower, knowing that I'm sloughing off all my old dead skin and revealing the new stuff underneath. Anyway I took the ... ...- WOW! The ingredients are advertised as brown sugar, lime and macadamia, and you can really smell them all. It smells like a mojito - a gorgous mixture of sweetness and sharpness from the lime. I wanted to eat it, never mind wash with it. The scrub comes in a satisyingly large 450ml tub, which is much bigger than most pots or tubes of body scrub. It's priced £8.81 normally, but was on offer so I got it for about 6 quid. This is more than I'd usually ...

Advantages: Smells gorgeous, good scrub, big pot Disadvantages: Price, but worth it
Soap and Glory are a cheaper line from Marcia Kilgore, who is the head of yummy Bliss products. You can therefore pretty much expect the same great quality from this Boots line. I picked up Sugar Crush (love the name!) as I needed a body scrub and had heard good things about S&G. This is part of S&G’s “Spa” range and is based on smashed brown sugar, lime, almond oil and macadamia. All Soap and Glory products are exclusive to Boots. The scrub is normally ... ...luckily Boots were running a 1/3 off promotion at the time. The scrub is in an attractive turquoise and clear plastic pot. There is also a turquoise cover over the scrub when you unscrew the lid. The instructions remind that it isn’t food! And advises you to use the scrub 2-3 or even 4 times a week. The packaging is very attractive and happily sits in my bathroom. The scrub itself smells delicious! It is a sweet lime smell – not at all overpowering ...
