Well I have to start with the nature of the game by saying that the game has similarities with the medal of honour and other war games. My love and flare for war games started when I saw advertisements on the play station 3 war games like the fuel of fire and others.

The game is amazingly good and I have to start with praising the developers that have long been in making games and they are zippers that was found 13 years ago.

The game does not come with that much interesting and long story line unlike other online shooter games. But from the simple narrations the story is all about sending American seals to protect from terrorists and from there you are taken across countries like Poland and other terrorist countries.

Well I have to comment good about the game in the case of having good graphics more than (FPS) games like the medal of honour and call for duty. Honestly this is a bit different from the two FPS mentioned above by the game play and graphics.

The game graphics is marvelous and I have to be honest, it has edge over war games like the medal of honour and other war games that I have played. In games like the medal of honour, the graphics is rougher and a bit unclear but the socom US navy game has softer and clearer graphics. And another advantage the game has over other war games that I have played is that most of the war games that I have played like medal of honour and call for duty, is based on the second world war settings that might have some outdated weapons, armored tanks and planes but the US navy game has advanced and modern war weapons that we have in our modern times. And the environments look modern looks

For the sound, it is awesome and fantastic. While playing the game, you tend to hear sounds that seem to interest you as a player in the game like the low humming voice of tanks and cars. Explosions of canons and tanks makes it as if you are in real war atmosphere. You also tend to hear the slow sound of your footsteps and also hear the sound of gunshots from unknown destinations, which is represented with good sound effects.

The controller is quite easy to control and user-friendly. But one major problem with the controller is that it does not enable to change your weapon faster. You are to change your weapons with the R2 button that brings out the list of weapons to select and then press the X button to confirm the selection.

You can as well set your secondary weapon and then select with L1 button.

There is some interesting feature about the game like in issuing orders as the commander by using the L2 button that pauses the game unless you give others to enter the second man squad or the whole team entirely. But some time your command might not seem to be effective or obeyed like when you give command on move, they some time tend to stay where they are.

The game play is quite good and the single player game is based on the online levels. But are to make some practices before heading for the real mission.

The mode that makes the game more of fun is the multiple guns set up. You can equally add some attachments, which include grenades launchers, handgrip and silencers as well. You are enabled to choose of 3 pistols and 1 adds from a silencer. We have weapons like the silencer, C4, grenade launcher, smoke and mines.

The game is also provided with on line map, which can accommodate up to 30 players, which makes the level smaller as more players are involved.

The game has 7 online modes and they are
1 the escort
2 the breach
3 demolition
4 convoy
5 extraction
6supression
7 control.

These are the 7 modes that make up the game play.
The replay value is more exiting if you have your play station 2 on line if not, I don't know on how you may find it. But the real joy of the game is having your play station 2 on line. In on line mode, there are many people you can play with. On line also allows you to perform some functions like surveying and also posting messages on forums.

While playing offline, there are 12 intense missions with 5 difficulty settings to play unlocks any extra characters while completed any of the mission.

This is a game made specifically for war game lovers so wont recommend for any body that does not like war games. But to make it very clear, to enjoy the game to the fullest, make sure it is on line that is where you encounter numerous players to play the game with.

In the case of selling places, I bought mine at Amazon. Co .uk and at the price of £20.99. So go get yours if you like war games.
