glow worm

Advantages: soft and cuddly
Disadvantages: none

my daughter has this playskool lullaby cloworm to sleep with and it works wonders. When she wakes up in the middle of the night I just squeeze it and starts it lulabies and glows and sends her back to sllep again. I brought this product when she started teething about 2 years ago and I'ved used it ever since but not all the time. I think this a great product to help a baby to drift off into a peacefull and relaxing sleep. It's great vaule for money ...
...makes it much better for the child to sleep with. I don't know what i'd do with out my one as she is coming up to 3 and she still loves it to bits. I would reccomend this product to any one who has a baby who can't sleep well ...

Puppy For a Friend

Advantages: lots to learn
Disadvantages: playing is difficult

Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Puppy Jack's first Christmas was wonderful and he received far too many presents from everyone including myself. One of his presents was this Laugh and Learn Puppy that his nana bought him (my partners mum). I have since seen it for sale many places such as Argos or online at Amazon and it is pretty much the same price wherever you go and that is around the £20 mark. To look at the puppy you will see a lovely soft toy ...
...body parts written onto the fabric of the puppy. He sits around 30cm high if not a little more and his limbs are all soft and movable. He has large floppy blue ears one green and one purple paw, one orange and one yellow foot. He has a small t-shirt on that has letters printed on in different colours. His face is very happy and smiley so he looks like a puppy you would like to have as a friend! He works in two different ways and these ways are controlled ...

Defective straight from the box

Advantages: My daughter loves this thing with a passion
Disadvantages: Hasbro has no customer service

...but the customer service from Hasbro is appalling. If they supply faulty toy, they should replace it if the store is unable to do so through lack of stock. I have a 4 year old who has asked for this toy since they first came out steadfastly. Imagine how she feels(and how I feel), when it does not work properly straight out of the box. She does not want a refund, she wants her toy! Shame on Hasbro for supplying faulty merchandise and refusing to replace ...

Bob the Builder

Advantages: keeps children happy
Disadvantages: none

...2-year-old baby is totally loves Bob the Builder, you know the little builder who asks, and “can we fix it?” So for her birthday I brought her the Singing Bob the Builder. Bob is in a sitting down position and is dressed in his normal outfit of a pair of denim dungarees, his yellow and orange shirt, soft brown boots and a yellow soft hard hat (as he is a builder). His body is made soft and is squeezable and easy for little hands to hold on to and ...
...soft. She loves her Bob the Builder. Everywhere she goes Bob goes. She will sit there for hours playing and talking with him, and when he starts to sing she joins in. Some toys children can get bored of really easy but this Bob the Builder keeps her busy for hours. She’ll fall asleep with him at the side of her, she even tries feeding him and he gets messed up with food and chocolate. He is really easy to clean, just get a damp cloth and wipe him ...

Tiny the Elephant - it's not that tiny!

Advantages: bright colours, lots of activities, lovable
Disadvantages: expensive

...any baby. We purchased Tiny at John Lewis for £20. It instantly appealed to us because of the bright colours and things it had to offer. Tiny is made by Tolo (www.tolotoys.com) and is suitable from birth. To describe Tiny: the majority of Tiny is purple with soft, velour type fabric. It's large ears are crinkly to the touch and striped yellow/orange/red/blue. It has a jingle ball inside its head and two small white tusks, and lovely long curled ...
...belly by soft cord. Tiny is not suitable for a washing machine - sponge clean only and it comes up well. Our daughter loves to play with Tiny and, because of its size, she can really get to grips with it, grabbing and pulling. She seems fascinated by the bright colours and hasn't been bored with it yet - it gets played with on a daily basis and she has had it since birth! ...
