No zebras were harmed in the making of this toy
Advantages: sweet rattle Disadvantages: none
...a smiley face and a playgro logo on the middle of it. It has a velvety, soft texture to it.
Attached to the main body of the zebra is a clear plastic ring, with half of the ring showing and the other half in the zebra body. In the ring are six fairly large balls of the following colours, green, purple. Red, blue, orange and yellow. They make a pleasing rattling noise when they toy is shaken.
According to playgro's website www.playgro.com.au this ... ...have had a good look on the internet and drawn a blank. The playgro website promises to have a postcode locator coming soon, to find out where you can buy products. I'll update this if I can find out where else you can buy playgro stuff from in the UK. ...

Wiggle Jiggle Giggle
Advantages: Fun, long lasting Disadvantages: Clip not strong enough on some surfaces
...for him myself was the Playgro Wiggling Giraffe, that was in 2004 and now in 2009 the same giraffe is entertaining my 3rd child just as well as it did my first. The Playgro Wiggling Giraffe is a simple toy designed to clip onto buggys, pram hoods, play gym bars etc.... it is an adorable stuffed giraffe with a pull cord attatched to a chunky claw like clasp. When the toy is pulled, straightening the cord, and the giraffe released it slowly winds the ... ...cord is fully rewound. The giraffe itself is brightly coloured and eye catching, sure to grab the attention of young babies, he has a cute little face and is almost cartoony but still looks like a giraffe unlike many similar toys. The clasp is easy to fix onto whatever place you want it and works much like a big peg, it's made of chunky plastic making it easy for parents to handle comfortably. I've used the giraffe for all 3 of my babies and they've ...

Taggie ball!
Advantages: fun, cute, baby friendly Disadvantages: doesn't roll...
...for my baby! Taggies were developed to help babies develop their sense of touch and were devised after the developers recognised just how very interested in tags that babies are. Whenever my baby plays with her soft toys she is more interested in the label than the actual toy. It was for this reason that taggies were invented. Taggies come in the guise of several items although they originally started off as a comfort blanket. The taggie range has ... ...I when I noticed that Taggies do a ball now! This ball is designed to look like a football with it's black and white hexagonal pieces of material. Out of each of the black shapes is the taggie ribbon loops. These all vary in colour and texture from plain ones, patterned ones, silky ones and cord ones. Each one is different so as to attract the baby's attention and encourage the sense of touch as they explore each ribbon. What is great about this ...

A bear is for life, not just for Christmas
Advantages: cute, soft, cheap Disadvantages: /
...from the more newly named Build a Bear Workshop, myself included. I'd been buying lots of items from the store for my young sister, who adores it all, but I wasn't ever treating myself. I felt like it was a waste of money for myself, but finally I decided to just buy a bear. With Children in Need a few weeks away at the time, I bought myself the Pudsey outfit, and was going to buy the new Pudsey bear from the store, but instead I went for a cheaper ... ...This particular teddy bear looks very sweet, even when flat. When you buy a bear you can occasionally buy some prestuffed, though more often than not you will have it filled there in the store. After selecting my floppy bear from the barrel in the store, I took him over to the stuffing machine where a store assistant helped me fill him up. It's very much a child's game - I found no amusement in pushing the generator myself, nor did I like the fact ...

Steiff's Cosy Year Bear for 2010
Advantages: Really cuddly and soft, Steiff brand quality, machine washable, special gift Disadvantages: A little expensive compared to some teddy bears
...I was surprised that Steiff make such soft, cuddly bears - I thought they were all hard and stiff. This teddy is made from woven plush rather than mohair, so it's really nice to touch and perfect for kids. The special touches on the year bear are the Steiff button and tag in his ear - I had only seen this mark on expensive and antique bears before. The bear has 2010 embroidered on his foot so it will always be remembered for the year it was given. ...
