DON'T PO PO THIS TILL YOU'VE TRIED IT
Review of Teletubby Talking Po by wardenblw431

Advantages: batteries last ages, well-made strong toy
Disadvantages: Annoying for parents

...ago. The teletubby toys are well made and all look like their on-screen character. The face is made of soft plastic and has a cheeky expression. The eyes open and close when you rock the doll back and forth. When you press Po's tummy she says 5 phrases. She talks in baby language which appeals to the younger generation. Her voice comes from a battery-operated pack which is housed in the back of Po in a velco compartment. The voice-pack can be removed ...
...fed up listening to it. Po takes 3 AA batteries, which believe it or not have never been replaced in all the time we've had it. And it's still going strong. Should you need to replace the batteries, then all you need to do is unscrew the voice-pack. This is a safety feature which stops children from being able to take the batteries out. Gemma recently passed Po down to Craig and he enjoys playing with it. He loves the feel of the soft fabric and ... Read review

Tinky Winky sings
Review of Teletubby Talking Tinky Winky by Jackietob

Advantages: Sings
Disadvantages: Sings

...Christmas a Talking Tinky Winky Teletubby when she was 18 months old and immediately fell in love with it. Tinky Winky is now almost 2 years old, has been slept with most nights, has been dropped downstairs, poked, pulled, prodded and chewed and still looks almost as good as new. Tinky Winky is the large purple teletubby, for those of you who don’t know, and has an upside down triangle for an antenna. On the TV programme the antenna is use to tune ...
...shows a clip of children doing different activities. However, this toy merely has a silvery shiny square of material sewn onto his tummy instead. The face of the Tinky Winky is plastic and looks babyish, just like the real thing (Teletubby that is and not a baby). When Tinky Winky lies down his eyes shut, which helped me in getting my daughter to sleep at times. Tinky Winky is battery operated, enabling him to talk. The voice box is set deep within ... Bright green dinosaur!
Review of Galt Activity Dino by natalie09

Advantages: Supports your baby whilst sitting, entertaining.
Disadvantages: none.

I spotted this dinosaur on amazon when my son was 6 months old. At this point he was just starting to sit up so I thought it would be a great purchase to help support him when he was sitting up. I made the order on amazon, it cost £20 which wasn't too bad and receieved it a few days later. When it arrived I couldn't believe how bright the green was! I put it out with his other toys at first to see what he thought of it and he loved it! When you ...
...of other crinkly, squeaky bits to discover on it. I tried putting it around my son to support him when he was sitting up and this worked a treat! It fit's really snug around his body and there is no risk of him falling back and hitting his head. The dinosaur is not has big as I thought it would be however it is a perfect size for my son. He has been playing with this toy for over 3 months now and he still loves it. I think this one will be one of ... Read review

Time for bed Iggle piggle
Review of Hasbro In The Night Garden Talking Iggle Piggle by STELAINE

Advantages: baby loves it
Disadvantages: not educational

Now Rhys is able to understand the concept of television I cant seem to get him away from it. I wanted to tidy up one day so I put on c-beebies the channel for young children when Rhys first caught sight of this programme In the Night Garden. I must admit he loves it now and I have been known to watch the occassional one myself. Its abit like teletubbies in the way they dont talk much just make stupid sounds. Whilst out one day I spotted this plush ...
...Rhys it was £12.99 for a 12" talking toy. It comes with his trademark red blanket, which does detach for cleaning which can be done in the machine on a low heat, it is attached via velcro to his hand. It also came with batteries which are in the back of iggle piggle un-covered by a velco fastening, which Rhys hasn't figured out yet. To make the toy work you just simple press his tummy and he makes his usual noise even that memorable tune "Yes ... Read review

Her name is Lola!
Review of Golden Bear Daytime and Nightime Lola by kingfisher111

Advantages: Excellent toy for dressing and role play
Disadvantages: none

...mechanism. She is made by Golden Bear Products and you can visit their website at www.goldenbeartoys.com. I bought our Lola from Amazon where she costs £24.99. I didn't pay this though as they had sale on and I paid less than £10. Although I do think this is a great toy and I know my daughters will get hours of enjoyment out of her, I do think the original price is expensive and I'm not sure I would have paid that amount. However, if she can be ... Read review
