Brilliant book to learn about the basic concepts of Software Testing Introduction I wanted to obtain a certificate as an ISEB Certified Tester - Foundation Level and this is the publication that is recommended by The Chartered Institute of IT on their website. I am a self learner and I already have a degree in Computer Science so I decided not to attend an accredited training course and rely on this book as a study aid to sit the exam. I have studyied this book in order to prepare for my software testing course. I read this book alone, before starting the course. It was very explanatory, however, i had to do alot of writing out to get my head around some of the concepts. However, i did read this book with absoluetly no knowledge or experience in software testing. On attendance of the course, i did not struggle slightly to follow the tutor led learning because i had learnt from the book prior, and feel i could and should have done the course online, as the option would have been cheaper.
