I have got 2 different versions on the original Soldier of fortune, and with that game you just have the feeling some guys just said 'hey, why in shooters cant you shoot and their limbs fall off?'. and it looks like theyve made the game around that, its more fun that most other shooters because it has a difference. The gore in that game is excessive but still it makes the game stand out from the crowd. When i saw Solider of fortune 2 i thought great another one. Bought it as soon as i could. The game is not anything like i would expect. There is little left of the game that amazed so many people a few years ago, not very much gore, thin storyline and little to keep you interested. From an observer point-of-view, the game looks exaclt ylike any other shooter; run round with a gun shooting people. VERY basic. Splinter cell uses stealth to stand out, Halo has its graphics and storyline and what does this game have? Just the title. The graphics are OK at close range but when trying to take a long-range shot you going to be wondering if its a bush or somebody standing still. I cant comment on the multiplayer very much, as i dont have XBOX live and maybe playing a bog-standard game with somebody else might make it more playable, ill leave that for somebody else to comment on. Ive had the game for 2 days now and stopped playing it, not worth the time. The old game is still fun now just to go on and shoot a few peoples legs off and watch them limp around but this has very little. Overall this isnt the sequel of a good game, its a different game just taking up space on the shelves.
