I am 69p overdrawn on my solo card, but that is my own thought. This card only lets you go 99p overdrawn. It will be rejected/declined if you do not have enough funds in your account. The solo card is very useful, and it is accepted all over the UK, including on the internet. I use the solo card along side my switch card to make transactions. I got my card at the age of 16 from Nat West. I have found it very good, although on one occassion, I was in a busy shop, and my card was declined, as I was £1-02 short in my account. The solo card is a good card for the younger generation, as it allows you to stay in control. You can get one from the age of 11.

Advantages: Fairly widely accepted and you can pay for things with it Disadvantages: Marketed as idiot-proof but will allow you to go over your limit and be charged penalties
