Why is that not many shops are able to accept this card. It drives me insane looking for the symbol and then finding that my card is'nt accepted, after all the money has to be in the bank to use, it is not a credit card it's a debit card from the same scheme as switch cards.
You cannot go overdrawn in your account using thsi card, which I think is a really good thing.I have had my card from Nat West bank now for almost 2 years although I admit more stores take the card now than they used to but there are still not enough. I have found that more websites accept it now also, but theres still room for improvement.
I used my card once a sproof of ID in my local video shop and the response was "she only has solo, Oh Solo"the other girl said, I felt like scum, until I produced my Goldfish card. What is wrong with Solo??

Advantages: Fairly widely accepted and you can pay for things with it Disadvantages: Marketed as idiot-proof but will allow you to go over your limit and be charged penalties
