Who would have thought, Sonic on a Nintendo console, 5 years ago, the prospect was unthinkable. However, Sonic Team have come up with an idea that has been used before in previous Sonic games and is still a very playful game. I have had the game now for several weeks and have not got bored of it.
The idea of the game is simple; the evil Scientist, Dr Eggman (Sonics enemy) has hatched another dastardly plot. He plans to build a Dr. Eggman empire by turning all the animals into robots. Command sonic and his friends as he dashes into action collecting rings through seven levels. Each level has two acts. At the end of the second act, you go against the boss, which is Dr. Eggman in some sort of robot. Despite its name, you can play as three other characters - Tails, Knuckles and Amy
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG: Meant to be the world’s fastest hedgehog. Probably the worlds most popular Hedgehog as well. He has no particular skills, although he goes fast.
TAILS THE FOX: Tails is Sonics friend and has two tails, which he can spin round to fly. His flying ability means, in my opinion, is the best character in the game.
KNUCKLES THE ECHIDNA: Knuckles’ best ability is to glide which is useful for high objects. He can also climb which helps, and is the strongest, as he punches.
AMY: Amy is a pink cute hedgehog but not as fast as Sonic. She uses a hammer to attack, whereas the others jump or punch.
The graphics on this game are generally very good for the Gameboy and the backgrounds are breathtaking. There is another section to the game, called the Chao garden where you can raise your own little creature, and buy it things. So far, I think this is the best game on the Gameboy Advance, as it takes Sonic back to his Mega Drive roots. I recommend this to all Sonic fans.

Hi, I enjoyed this op very much, but I felt there was not enough information on the game itself. I also have a Gameboy Advance and am nervous about buying new games without advice as they are sooo bloomin' expensive. So, if you write more about the game itself please leave a msg in my Guestbook and I will come back and rerate. Thanks, Susan.
