This review is about Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, there are loads of functions for this game, and loads of other Sonic games. In this you go through the game level by level, and you do battles in some, with all 3D areas. There are battles with Egg Man (the main bad guy), and then you can battle Shadow (Sonic, but a test experiment) which you do at the end, depending which side you decide to choose.

There are two sides, the Light side, which is Sonic and his team, which is Tails, and Knuckles, and then there is Dark Side, which is Shadow, Egg man and Rouge. They are both good, they have their own stories, but they both end up to the same destination.

There are many levels, and many functions. This game is able for two players. 1 player, when you unlock it, you can race in cars, you can also do this on 2 players, you unlock this by completing the level when you have to race in the karts. Also you can do regular 1 player, by doing the levels to complete the game.

In 2 player, you can do kart racing, once it is unlocked, or you can do Action Race, which is you racing your friend to get to the emblem coin. You can also do Treasure Hunting, which you have to find the 3 parts of the mega crystal. Or you can do Action Battle, which is other words; destroy the hell out of your enemy. There are some others like Chao racing and stuff, but you need to uplink your Sonic Advance game to the Game Cube.

Sonic adventure 2 battle is a great game; it has great graphics, looks so smooth, and all that. The sound of the game is also good, it is in English voices, and you have a choice to change it in the menu, under options, in languages. The music is really good, i've been searching for the MP3's of it, but I have not had any luck as of yet. The game is very addictive, but the game was kind of short, or it was only because I played it non stop till I completed it!

The characters are all from the other games accept Rouge and Shadow. Shadow is well cool, he is Sonic, but red, it makes him look so evil, when really he is just influenced by Dr Robotnic (Egg man’s real name). Sonic still looks better though, and slightly faster, can’t jump as high though.

On two player, my favourite function must be the Action Race, and me and my brother always play that one if we go on the game, but we isn’t been on there in ages, because we have other things to do.

I like this game, and plus it is a Sonic game, I shall give this 4 star, because of the graphics, all the kick butt characters, and the soothing music, that is what some people call rock.

A game of certain taste
Review of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GameCube) by griffithsmikey

Advantages: Verylong, multiple characters, different gameplaymodes, levels and secrets unlockable, multiplayer games, raising 'Chaos' as pets.
Disadvantages: Only twoplayer games, path/route obvious, not much freedom to explore levels, poorly dubbed/lip-synched.

Sonic is probably aimed at a younger generation of players, but is still enjoyable and challenging to older players alike. It contains two types of mission: Dark, and Hero. This is quite an original concept because games usually follow a kind of "good guy" angle to the storyline, where you play the good guy and it is completely biased to that one "good" character. There are 3 Hero characters and 3 Dark characters, each with their own abilities and ...
...An interesting side game of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is Chao(s) and Chao Garden. Chao(s) are little pets that you get an egg for, and then it hatches into a small Chao that grows up and has stats and can participate in several multiplayer games. Chao(s) are influenced and grow up either Hero, Neutral or Dark. Chao(s) can be powered up with items that are collected within levels. This gives more meaning to just completing missions, as if you are ... Read review

Sonic Adventure 2 .. Music to your Ears
Review of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GameCube) by Fuzzmaster2002

Advantages: Fast-paced, smart music, clever ideas
Disadvantages: Dodgy camera, sometimes repetitive

...can boast all these features. Sonic Adventure 2 : Battle. Featuring Sonic and all his friends (and foes) you get to fight as either the good guys (Sonic, Knuckles and Tails) to try and the stop world domination by the bad guys (Dr Eggman, Shadow and Rouge). It was clever idea which adds longetivity to the game and also makes it quite original, as normally you only have to stop the 'baddies'. Each character has their own type of action stage, Sonic ...
...music. As with almost all Sonic games, it's a tiny but cheesy. But this music is actually really good, and there are so many tracks it's a shame more stages/cut scenes couldn't be included to give them all a chance to shine. Some of the character themes are absolutely amazing but get very few playings, so you have to go into the sound test to hear them, which is a bit annoying. Overall, SAB:2 is a fairly good game. With subtle references to other ... Read review

Advantages: 2 player vs, Can be either dark or good, GBA compatibility
Disadvantages: GBA only works well with Sonic Advance

...of you who don't know, Sonic is a blue hedgehog with incredible speed (which is kinda ironic). It was said that the reason the chose a hedgehog, is because most people in Japan had never seen one before, and were fascinated by it (don't hold me to that, it was late so I can't remember much). He has this weird obsesssion for running at super-sonic speeds and collecting rings, while over the years being involved with many confrontations with the evil ...

The Sonic Boom begins
Review of Sonic Advance (GBA) by  dingmeister_2k

Advantages: Classic Sonic gameplay, now handheld!
Disadvantages: A bit short.

...the Sonic Adventure games, Sonic Advance brings the Chao to the small screen. It suses the same system; care for your chao, feed it, weed the garden, play games with it and buy it toys with your collected rings. There are 2 simplistic games to play, a version of pairs and Paper, Scissors, rock. If you want a change from the main game, it's always fun to check up on your Chao and pass the time with the disturbingly addictive mini-games. Interestingly, Sonic Advance is the first GBA game to use the GBA- GameCube link, where you can transfer your Chao to the GameCube's Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and vice-versa. Sonic Team have recreated the classic 2D Sonic game perfectly and it rally does remind you of the early 90's when you were sitting in front of your TV, showing how fast you could get through the Green Hill Zone. The only major quibble is... Read review

Sonic's back
Review of Sonic Advance (GBA) by  jiggyjunior

Advantages: A classic
Disadvantages: the special stages are incredibly tough

...Price: £35 Players: 1-4 Developer: SonicTeam Publisher: Sega Before you get suspicious, this is no port of Sonic2, as found on SNK’s ill-fated Neo Geo Pocket Colour. No, what you’ve got here is a brand new, full-on 2D platformer, with 8 massive levels and a bush of extra stuff, including a Chao Garden for raising the little critters from Sonic’s Dreamcast outings. Also, there’s a Link mode that lets you exchange your Chao between Sonic Advance and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for Nintendo’s splendid GameCube! Cool, or what? Sega have pulled out all the stops- and it shows. Do you remember how tasty the first Sonic was on the Mega Drive? Well, believe it or not, Sonic Advance is even better looking, with more detail and some cool scaling effects. Of course, all the usual levels are there, from... Read review
