There has been so much arguments over which console is better the PS3 or the XBOX 360. I looked into which console has what features and their way of communicating to the audience. Also which console has the better online game play and their prices. First I?ll be explaining the functions and features of the SONY PLAYSTATION 3 and then the functions and features of the XBOX 360.
SONY PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3)
There is more then one version of the PS3 in the UK. They vary from £300 to £399, some contain a 40GB hard drive and others go to 60 or even 80GB and can connect with or without wires to the internet for online game play. The PS3 is a top of the range machine. No denying it. There are good graphics, a wireless controller, online play. A harddrive so no memory card is need. Downloadable arcade games and demos, plus patches for your games. So far, I've just described an Xbox 360.
So what does the PS3 have extra? Bluray. If Bluray takes off ahead of HDDVD, the PS3 will be a fantastic (and cheap) way of getting hold of a Bluray player. If it takes off. Until then it is simply a Sony branded 360.
The only thing it has over the 360 at the moment is the reliability. I've seen far less faulty PS3s than I have 360s. I've even heard of them being kicked over while playing a disc and nothing being wrong with the machine or the disc at all.
If you prefer Sony and have plenty of extra cash, go for the PS3. If not, wait and see which format wins, HDDVD ...

I recently bought this car stereo as a replacement for one that my parents had given me, which didn't play mp3s. I wanted a stereo for around £100 and I wanted a decent brand in the hope that it would last.
So what made me choose the SonyCDX-A250? Well, other than the price and brand - it also plays mp3/wma disks, has a remote control and lots of other useful features.The thing that swayed me into choosing this particular stereo, though, was the voucher that came with it in Argos for free fitting.
