I got the Sony CDX-GT 44IP as a present a couple of months ago, as my friend bought another one. It's a great little item. Sound: The sound quality is very good. Much better than you would expect it for this sort of price. As it was a present I cannot tell you how much I paid. But you'll find it in the internet for about £73. Considering this price is a brilliant item with a lot of features found normally on much higher priced units. It comes with a IR remote control, which you do not need i a car but can be a nice little extra. It works with most ipods but unfortunately not with the iPod touch.
The installation instructions are very good. There will not be any problems.
It has the ability to connect up an amp further which enhances the sound.
Another problem is, that it can be a bit of a pain to find a song, if you have a lot on your ipod.
Overall it is good value for money and looks more expensive than it is.
