clearly in 3 separate places, so you won't forget who made it either. This was my first Palm, and although some say it is rather big for a Palm, I've always thought of it as quite small. I'd recommend this as a first buy into the world of PDAs as it is easy to use and satisfactory in most ways.
The thumboard, as I've mentioned, is very easy to use but there is also a software keyboard that you can use with the stylus on screen, and handwriting recognition so you can write the way you'd use a pen, letter by letter, onto the Clie's screen. This takes a bit getting used to, and I myself prefer to use the keyboard. With all the input methods however, you are spolit for choice.

Advantages: Funky, Light, and long lasting battery Disadvantages: Not full version microsoft word / excel
(ear phones supplied), saving me a fortune in batterys as would have been on my cd player. Also great to download photos onto, if you have a sony camera, I just removed the memory stick from my camera, and downloaded them onto the clie, freeing up space on my camera to take more shots whilst on holiday, I have to say that this new clie is a great PDA for people new to using PDA's maybe not as versatile as an IPAQ (but then not nearly as expensive either). This clie, has everything i need, and the opportuinity of expanding too.

So you have a massive laptop with oogles of memory and fantastic processor capable of crunching numbers faster than a chilli eating monkey. Sony, with their infinitely advanced minds super charged with some sort of magical elixir, have came up with this little PDA (personal digital assistant in case you didn't know. If you did then sorry this for those who didn't). It looks like a micro laptop/tablet PC with built-in camera and touch screen instead of a mouse. Well comparison over let's review the little bugger!
When I first opened the box I actually read the manual. I felt it appropriate because it was a rather expensive gadget and I didn't want to risk doing something silly to it and messing it up. The manual is in black and white, in all honesty I am tired of reading instructions manuals in black and white, I mean we are a nation ...
