Owning a powerful laptop and desk top PC I use them mostly for my music listening need's but for my bedroom I have always had a stereo system and currently I have the Sony CMT-SPZ90 which I have had for getting on a year now. I have the speakers wall mounted so as I get good sound throughout my bedroom (It's a large room) and being remote controlled myself and my wife can cuddle up at night with the music on and I can set the timer through the remote control and turn it of myself should we be ready to go to sleep. I personally love listening to music to go to sleep and enjoy waking to the radio so this system is perfect suiting all my needs.

As well as being able to listen to my favorite radio stations through the DAB (Digital Radio) I can also load in up to three of my favorite CD's into it to play as and when the mood takes me. Not only does it play CD's but also plays CD's I have recorded in MP3 format on discs and for when I can be bothered it also has a Tape Cassette player for my boxes of tapes I still have stored in the loft collecting dust. When you play your CD's or DAB radio the LCD display shows you what is playing so no more guessing and banging your head over which artist sung which song. (Although guessing can be fun sometimes it has me thinking for days).

The remote control is very functional allowing total control over the system from DAB to volume as well as tape, CD and everything else. The batteries for the remote were included in the package and when they run out are 2x AAA. My batteries that I got with it are still working nearly a year down the line so no problems there great value. The sleek and stylish design is beautiful and the silver and wood speakers look great mounted on the wall, the LCD display is very clear and straightforward and adds to the modern and sleek look of the system.

With the Sony CMT-SPZ90 you can control all setting's for the quality of sound such as treble and bass and have a customizable equalizer to find that perfect tone, me personally find that the preset settings are spot on and don't tend to play with these settings. There is no way to connect this system to your PC so purely designed for listening pleasure and there is a socket for headphones not used in my house.

I picked up the Sony CMT-SPZ90 for £210.00 from Comet it is now available at just £199.00 with £5.95 for delivery. Or you can get it from Amazon for £189.99 with free delivery. The speaker supports I purchased separately for £25 for a set of two these were bought at the same time from Comet and are specifically for the stereo I had bought.

Overall
----------
Overall a great stereo system for a good price there are much cheaper models out there but I like Sony and find the quality tends to be better than most. There is also the very good Sony warranty which I find very good, quick and reliable judging by previous experiences with their products and customer services.
