In September 2000 I purchased a Sony Multiscan E200E and I have recieved nothing but sheer pleasure from it since. The screen is so flat that you can see the screen from any veiwpoint in a room. The image is crystal clear too, I am a graphic designer and I have tried and tested many monitors and not a single one compares with this. The options for configuring the screensize etc is the best format I have come across and it is pleasurable to use. apart from graphic designing I also like to play strategy games which usually entail looking at very small images but the Multiscan E200E gives each image a clear, crisp and defined edge.
The only problem I have ever found with it is the two lines that divide the screen. At first I thought it was a fault and it was very obvious on a blank screen but after a while you get used to it and I can no longer see them. The pros certainly outweigh the cons on this model of monitor so i would like to inform you that in my opinion there is no better monitor.

I agree, this is a good bit of kit for a graphic designer

A friend's got this monitor and he likes it. The two lines by the way are the wires the hold the grill/mask. Welcome to Ciao.
