I have had this monitor for a few years now. Firstly I think the best thing to mention is Sony Displays customer services. After about 11 months constant use the image on the screen went blurry. I phoned Sony customer support and they had a man round the next day with a temporary monitor (the same model as it happens) who also took mine away for repair. A couple of weeks later the monitor was bad fully working and in perfect condition, I was very satisfied.
The product. For day to day use this is an excellent monitor. It is extremely sharp and still puts any of the modern LCD displays ive seen to shame, especially when viewing details photographs. All colours appear very natural, not too bright and garish, whites are white, blacks are black, just as you want it.
The 4 port usb hub comes in very useful, but unfortunately its only usb1 compatible. Having 2 inputs is very useful as I can connect more than one computer to the monitor and flick between them using a switch at the front. The user interface is easy too use, though I have found it hard to get the shape of the image exactly right for my chosen resolution. Using the auto-size function usually leaves far too large borders at all sides of the screen and modification is needed.
All in all an excellent buy which I dont regret, even though I paid a premium for it.
