I can't say I'm as technologically proficient as some of the others reviewing this product on the site, but I can say, for me anyway, this is a very good camera. Although the camera is not primarily in use by me - this is my sister's device - I've had time to come to grips with it and it's a pretty impressive model. We've been using this for about a year now, since an inferior camera took a slight fall during a drinking session and immediately got itself destroyed. Sony are renowned for making quality products. This product lives up to these expectations, although there are a few niggles. First and foremost, this takes fantastic pictures without having to adjust any settings. If you want a point and click camera (which is what I wanted) then this would be a great choice. I have attempted to use the other settings, however I found them to be more trouble than they are worth.
