SONY CYBER-SHOT DIGITAL STILL CAMERA **************************************************
Where do I begin? ********************* Perhaps with the reason for wanting this little baby would be the best place to start.
Reason 1 ************ My dad is getting married in June of this year, and what must be either a natural eye for taking good pictures, a good digital camera, also Sony cyber shot, or combined with dad being to tight to pay for a real photographer, I was over the moon when dad asked me to take his wedding photos. Taking wedding photographs and having the right camera to produce good results is essential, and here I was really fortunate.
Reason 2 ************ As already stated I had what I considered to be a great camera, but wedding photos, especially my dads, it had to be special., I really haven't got much of a clue about cameras, but thought obviously the bigger the Ratio the better the picture quality 5.1 MEGA PIXELS 12.0x ZOOM. This must be
better than my 3 mega pixel.
Who Paid? where purchased? & how much? ************************************************ Well Luckily for me I'm spoilt, and it didn't take a lot of puppy dogs looks to MR DOG, to eventually take the hint. I sat for what seamed like ages, staring at the Argos catalogue & comparing prices with my Kays catalogue, before MR DOG eventually took the hint! But took it he did ! "PHEW !!!" Kays catalogue were offering my Sony DSC-H1 at £459.99. Argos were selling the exact item at £399.99. So the answer here was simple, He bought my baby from Argos, £399.99
To my disappointment *********************** cableservelimited., techstore and mediaatlantic are all offering these for a lower price of between £305.76 & £321.39. although I know my store and am happy that I have somewhere I trust to go back to if anything goes wrong.
MY SONY DSC-H1CYBER-SHOT DIGITAL STILL CAMERA *********************************************************** CRISTMAS DAY, I opened it's box, But to my disappointment, it had no camera bag to protect my baby, whilst carrying it around, or am I being greedy for £399.99 It did come complete with 2 AA cyber shotNI-MH Rechargeable batteries & charger. Stamina Battery Life is approx 290 shots by CIPA standard These needed charging before I could proceed to explore my camera. Any 2 AA batteries will tide you over in emergencies, so off I went. I took it out of his box ********************** Inserted 2 AA batteries and away I went.
Point and Shoot, But alas, my baby didn't come with a memory stick! Oh god no! What! £399.99 and no memory stick! Am I asking to much? Perhaps its me? Never mind I had one, a 128MB Sony Magicgate, from my old camera. I used this memory stick during new year at Butlins, I took 76 photos, some I took 0n 3mega pixels and some on 5mmega pixels
I did however discover that it has its own internal 32 MB memory.
i will have to invest in a 1GB Memory stick for the wedding, so that i can take some good quality pictures. on at last 5mega pixels.

Since my return from four days at Butlins, for the new year, I can confirm I have some stunning photos, After installing the CD that was supplied with my cyber shot, I have made moving photo DVD's complete with memory music for my dad and future step mam to view at their leisure.
One thing I like about this camera is the help you get, by easy to use features, as listed above, but as explained nicely in their handbook. I have only outlined them here but they are user friendly and produce good results.
CONCLUSION ************************
This camera saved the day. The photographs were stunning. It is a robust camera and compares well with the competition available at the same price, and I thoroughly recomment it if you are looking within this price range.
UPDATE ************** Having just celebrated dad's wedding I can now announce I have a wounderful new step mum. but enough about them and their fab day, I have come back to add how nervouse I was about having the responsibility of taking and printing their photographs, I needn't have worried as you can see from the new pictures below it performed with spectacular results.
thanks again for reading
Michele
