In my opinion It's lightweight and easy to use. I think that the pictures come out fantastic!! Battery life is decent. I recommend as with any camera to have a charged back-up battery with you at all times. It's not the best if you need to capture pictures quickly...shutterspeed is lacking. I went whale watching and was wanting to capture the whales emergence from the water and had a hard time focusing and capturing the frames I wanted due to slow shutter speed. However, i absolutely LOVE this camera. I was really wanting a DSLR but the ones I wanted were out of my price range. This is definiately (in my opinion) the best camera if you can't make that leap to a DSLR financially. Again, I highly recommend this camera. Period!
