There is an "automatic" setting where you have almost no control over the camera except for having the flash on or off or changing to multi burst (3 rapid shots), voice, e-mail (lower resolution), or exp brktg (3 Rapid shots are taken at different exposure levels). Take away alot of the complication out of using the camera but still with excellent results.
As with most portable sony products that i know of charging the batter is not a problem whatsoever and it is also very easy to upload the pics onto a pc. However something something that i can imagine being overlooked which i would like to point out is that sony have their own type of memory card and is not interchangable with other makes. Sony memory cards are expensive especialy for the bigger capacity cards. To get the most out of a 5mega pixel camer- bigger cards are needed. I do think with all considered it is worth it but the extra cost should be taken into account.
The camera is quite quick in daylight with less than a second lag (slows down in twilight). When using the flash there is a considerable delay of about 7 seconds before the next photo with flash can be taken. Fortunately the camera is quite good in low light situations so that I rarely need the flash.
There are a few problems with the way the camera is designed- the buttons are not spaced out very well and sometimes they can be pressed by accident- which is problematic.
All in all it is a good camera but does have a few annoying problems.

Advantages: Smart looking, lightweight, easy to use but many more functions/settings to discover. Disadvantages: No zoom on Movie Mode. Can't use one battery and charge the other.
