Firstly the 7.2 megapixel quality was very appealing especially for a camera made by sony and at a good price tag. Having taken many videos and pictures with my camera i can say the 7.2 megapixel was a great investment as it really produces clear vibrant pictures. However the only down side is that you really have to hold the camera verryyyyyy still when taking pictures as even a slight movement seems to blur the picture so if you want a camera to snap while you ride a rollercoaster this is not for you.
The other thing that was appealing was it looked very easy to use which thankfully it was. The camera has three main sections at the back:
1 is a wheel which u simply spin round till u set the camera at what mode you want -eg picture -video etc.
2 is a rounded rectanglar button which is for zoom in and out with is placed near the top 'take picture' button therefore is very easy to mess about with.
3 is a small circle button which is the OK button which has 4 buttons surrounding it which are all functions for the picture such as flash/timer etc.
there are 3 smaller buttons on the bak of the camera for menu / delete and screen on/off.
without ramblin on TOO much i can honestly say you will not have any bother getting used to what the button are for.
The cameras memory card and battery are stored at an easy to access side compartment which is also where the dc connection goes to charge the camera. I find the battery life to be fantastic the only down part is that sony along with just about every other camera dealer supplies a really poor 32mb memory card but that wasnt too much of an issue as a larger 512mb card is only £15 off the net.
The camera has a whole host of features including red eye removal and close up shot and all the usual cool picture things which for ppl like me you'l never use but nice to know you have it.
A very interesting feature is the fact you can change the pixel quality down to as low as 1 megapixel i think this feature is incase you are running out of space on your memory card so by downgrading the megapixel you can take more. BUT whyyyy would you when you have 7.2 megapixel u maze well just use it all and munch your memory allll away.
the camera has a 3x optical zoom which is quite useful but not that great. I have noticed tho the zoom shows images blurred on the screen and yet if you take the picture the image is fine and clear. ODD!!. Anyhoo think av covered enough to say that this is a very decent camera and worth consideration from anyone interested :). Thank you sony
