Sony must have spent a lot of time surveying customers and potential customers, concerning what kind of functions, features, looks and feel they look for in a camera. And this is their result. The DSC-P2 provides users with the ability to take excellent quality images in a quick and comfortable way and then easily transfer them to virtually any USB-equipped PC, PDA and Printer. I've been using a purple sony p2 for a year now. I was using a p5 before that. I feel that the p2 is a definite improvement in terms of quality of image capuring over the p5. Its the best camera i've ever used. The 2 mega pixel pictures taken are ever so clear. I print them out on my printers and it is remarkable that the photos are almost as good as those taken on film cameras. I have used other cameras before and they aren't as good as the sony p2 in taking surprise shots, nature shots, night shots.
