- Sony InfoLithium battery provides the camera with 90 minutes life or 1,800 pictures with the LCD screen switched off.
Its fairly small with dimensions are 112.5mm long, 53.8mm tall and 36.2mm deep. And pretty light at 185g.
I paid approximately £340 in 2002 for this camera, and although this exact model is no longer available, now you would look to pay about £100 less for the newer version.
I have found the camera incredibly simple to use. The picture quality is fantastic, and although not as good as a standard video camera - the video function is a great feature to have. If you like using the LCD screen to take your pictures and to look back at them while on the move, you may find the battery can run down fairly quickly, which could be a problem if you were going somewhere where you wouldn't be able to charge the camera fairly frequently. The quality of the flash is amazing, and I have found that the AF illuminator technology means that when using the camera to take pictures of objects in the distance at night - the clarity is amazing compared to other cameras.
I have had no problems with the camera itself at all. However when it comes to accessories for the camera it isn't quite as impressive. The camera doesn't come with a case, and for the leather Sony case you will have to spend another £30. Offical Sony Memory Sticks (the data card which you store your photo's on) are also more expensive than those of competitors, and as the camera only comes with an 8MB Stick you will have to buy a larger one to get good use from the camera. Also I wanted to buy a second USB cable for the camera, and have found it practically impossible to buy one anywhere.
Its a great quality camera if you're prepared to pay that little bit extra for Sony's renowned reliability and performance.

Nearly gave you a VH rating there for the first part of this review which is clear and informative. You need to mention more though and what is a memory stick? N
