I recieved this phone about 2 years ago as an upgrade on my phone contract. At the time it was one of the best phones around and made quite a little accessory! Admittedly, now it isnt the most hi-tech phone but, despite having other upgrades since, I always go back to using it because it is easy to use and reliable.
Me and my partner went to a festival this year, and while his trendy new phone proceeded to break for no apparent reason, the good old Sony is still going strong.
The only bad point I would give this phone is that if you have had Sony Ericssons before it works pretty much the same way as previous models, (which may be considered a good thing for ease of use), but is also a little bit boring! ...

To be honest I am basically a Sony sound system fanatic simply because I am a person to whom music means a lot, but it is also true I have an inherent weakness for the sony brand name itself.
Although I am not a professional photographer but photography does interest me a lot and on top of that there are friends who are professionals in this field. I came across Sony Cybershot DSC-S950 through one of my friends, what attracted me was its silvery looks (not that it is available in silver only, pink and black variations are also available) and since it was there with him I borrowed it in order to try it out for a while. The slick looks impressed me a lot. Over all the quality seemed to me to be quite okay.
I got excellent results shooting out doors with rapid shutter speed in IS ISO100 mode, in fact the 4x zoom did not hinder the picture ...

With a focus on performance, Sony's Stamina series of Cyber-shot digital cameras set a new standard for speed, battery life and picture quality in compact cameras. The DSC-S60 includes a 3X optical zoom and 2X digital zoom for better looking, properly framed pictures. Additionally, various preset scene modes are available for quickly selecting the best setting for the shooting conditions. Incorporating all the smart features of the DSC-S40 camera, the DSC-S60 model steps up with an elegant new design, larger LCDs, manual exposure control and the added utility of Cyber-shot Station compatibility. This model also offers the option to add tele- or wide- conversion lenses for greater magnification or a wider field of view. You won't need reading glasses to set up the perfect shot on this camera.
