The Sony DSC-S730 is a good starter camera to someone which wants to start in the digital photography world. It does have a good user-oriented interface with various resources, which even a child of 10 years can use. It haves a good optics, made by Carl Zeiss, which is recognized among photography professionals as a top photographic goods supplier, and gives a good quality zoom, despite having a very small size. The sony manufacturing quality also gives to the user assurance of a good investment. The camera haves a ergonomic shape which makes its operation easier to all types of hands, even little ones. The battery life is something that haves to be achieved, having enough stamina to be used for many hours, depending on the AA battery you use. As for me, two units of 2500mAh were enough to take more than 400 photos. The unique thing that is a negative point is the price of expansion cards, sony memory sticks, which are more expensive than SD Cards, more common among other manufacturers. Despite of this, is a good buy for someone which does want a camera with the essential resources to make good photos.
