Not Just Another Sony Cybershot
Analysis
Giving with the idea of using a lot of buttons for operating a camera, Sony came up with this model T300 with mainly all the menus operated with the wide screen 3.5" clear LCD touch screen. The 10.1 MP resolution is high enough for any professional photographer as well. The 5X optical Zoom is Higher than any peer available in the compact Digital Camera Category.* The camera supports the great range of light sensitivity ISO. Which allowed me to take photographs with not caring mush about the light position.* The Camera supports the wide range of scene modes ranging from Night Mode, Landscape, hi-speed shutter, twilight portrait, fireworks, soft snap, Underwater, twilight mode, beach, snow, high sensitivity, smile shutter. The Smile shutter is absolutely great as the camera click when it captures any body smile.
The great range of white balance settings available such as. Incandescent, cloudy, Flash, daylight, fluorescent light (cool white), fluorescent light (daylight), fluorescent light (warm white)
Video recording is also good enough at high frame rate. I was able to shoot the HD video with this with such an ease.
* The size and looks of the camera are its main USP. It is so small and good looking that nobody resist it.
Advantages: Stylish, trendy colours, large viewing screen, easy to navigate and use. Disadvantages: Couldn't use SD storage cards in it, had to use Sony's Memory stick duo
I have just purchased the Sony DSC-T300 here in Australia. I paid $A470 for it over here, and have been impressed with several points about it so far. WELL DESIGNED
These include the elegant design - I like the fact that mine is a snazzy red colour, as I invariably mislay things by accident. The red makes it more visible to find as well as looking stylish. EASY TO READ TOUCH SCREEN
The 3.5 inch screen is delightful after my previous digital cameras. ... ...but then I learnt that Sony has allowed for that. You can buy an accessory screen protector, as well as a line of coloured carry cases to suit your colour preference. This is an accessory I will probably buy in due course.

I recently bought this cam sony cybershot DSC t300. Its an ultimate piece of work by sony people. The best part is its super steady pic. I got amazed the the shopkeeper cliked the pic of fan moving at its full speed, and it was a super steady pic like the fan was never moving. Sony is always good in colours department. The pictures are quite bright full of vibrant colours. It doesnt have much optical zoom, goes as a negative effect. But tahts because ... ...pocket sized cam. It has got a smiley feature which actually detects smiles while clicking ( although i haven't understood that feature well). Else it has got auto focus as well as touch focus. Sorry i forgot to mention that it has got a bright display, which is TOUCH SCREEN so its a pleasure using the cam. Its definitely value for money, brings out perfect images. ...

...can you say about the Sony Cyber shot DSC T300 Digital camera? Well, you can say an awful lot that's what, I purchased this camera around 3 months ago and it hasn't left my side. The frame of the camera is so tactile and easy to use, the front of camera slider removes the need to switch it on as sliding down also switches camera on.

This is an excellent camera which is small, compact and easy to use. It can just be slipped into a pocket and is quickly accessible and ready to take pictures - this was a bonus on a recent trip to the Lake district for taking pictures of people and scenery with great results. The large screen mean you can easily se what the shot will be and the touch screen controls are simple to follow.
