...said above it is a Sony and I've found you cannot really go wrong with this brand. They have developed a real reputation for themselves for producing excellent quality digital cameras at competitive market prices.
The DSC-T70 main features are an 8.2 megapixels CCD, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, 3x optical zoom without a lens that retracts and a 3" LCD touch screen (Full specs at the end of the review). The outer casing is aluminium which means ... ...I've used a number of Sony cameras with Carl Zeiss lenses. This company has over 150 years experience in optical technologies and their partnership with Sony (which has been making cameras since 1946) has produced what I consider to be the best all round package money can buy in the compact camera range.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T70/B digital camera is a powerful little thing. I got this as my old digital camera broke down. I wanted something reliable, cheap, compact and powerful. I think this camera ticked all the right boxes.
The Sony digital camera comes in four different colours, black, white, pink and silver. The letter at the end of the model number basically represents what colour it is, 'B' is black. 'W' is white, 'P' is pink and 'S' is silver. ... ...on screen icons.
The Sony DSC-T70 has many functions; to start with it is a whopping 8.1 mega pixel camera and uses Carl Zeiss® 3X Optical Zoom Lens Design. The T70 is truly a fantastic piece of kit. It is stylish, light and has a lot of functions not available with any other brand. To start with, you get the choice of four different colours - baby pink (slightly sparkly, very girly!) , jet black, brushed silver and white.The camera itself is slimline, with ... ...lens (which turns the camera on in approximately 1.5 seconds - quick start up for those spontaneous shots!)
There are loads of features available on this camera, but main selling points have to be the 8.2 megapixel CCD, Carl Zeiss lens, 3x optical zoom, also pretty robust. This camera is manufactured by a top brand sony which creat quaity premium products. The cyber shot is a top brand created by sony which make a range of the top camera's.
This model has a 3"inch tft color screen to see what your picture will look like once developed or uploaded to your pc. It has a good picture resolution at 8.1 megapixals which can take some great photos.
This camera looks very nice with the black and ... ...many additional features inc audio recording, digital image rotation and memory card slots.
I would recomend this camera for home use rather than professional use as for high quality camers i would recomend a high quality slr camera which with the correct knowledge, the camera's available are amazing.
