Advantages Ultimate amature camera

Disadvantages Large and Heavy

In this review, i'm compare 3 similar Cameras, noticably the T1/W1/V1:

Statistics of T1/W1/V1
AC Adaptor
USB Cradle & cables
32 Mb Sony memory stick duo
CD-ROM (software and firmware update)
A/V connecting cable for viewing on a TV
Large LCD screen

Advantages of V1:
Tonnes more professional features, more than W1. The W1 has very limited control over the exposure time and apature size.
Cheaper than rest of other cameras

Disadvantages of V1:
large size, weights 2x as much as the other cameras

Advantages of T1:
Extremely small and easy to use
Actually pocketable
Small Rechargable Battery (purchase of Sony, Expensive)
Light

Disadvantages:
Small and easy to damage as you're tempted to put it in your pocket
No Decent zoom
Rechargeable battery expensive
Not very good at tacking pictures in the dark
No professional features
No viewfinder (useful when battery low)

I compared this to the W1 which I bought after hours of comparisan in the shop and testing it out, i bought the W1 mainly because it was cheaper and had more features. I actually prefered something that had rechargable AA batteries so i can replace them any time.

Here the review i posted for the cybershot W1:
"Main Advantages: No need to buy special battery, so during vacations, all you need to bring is camera and you can buy AA batteries in any supermarket

Very large screens, zoomable. It feels much better using taking pictures through this large LCD screen, it has a high refresh rate and shows a lot of detail. I’ve found a useful trip of taking pictures of maps during trips and then zooming in, this way I will never get lost!

Easy to use and with professional features: It has a standard automatic setting that helps you automatically set the exposure. Along with this, there is a manual mode that allow allows you to take 30 second exposures at night etc.

Very Good lens, Carl Zeiss, Vario Tessar, it’s the best lens out there

Movie feature, this is useful for short clips. The quality is decent and a 256 megabyte memory card would allow 10 minutes of recording

Disadvantage:

Slightly larger than other cameras, however, this is balanced by the fact that you don’t need to take a special battery recharger on trips and the cheaper price
