I have become rather fond of my little camera - it isn't the best, flashiest most souped-up camera that I've ever seen, but I wouldn't want it to be. If what you're looking for is a camera that can take good pictures, has a fair amount of special features and is pretty simple to use, then I would happily recommend this one. It takes wonderful quality shots, you can have flash on or off, red eye reduction, you can take photographs in black and white or sepia, you can make the colours in the shot more vivid, take short films and take pictures on a number of different settings (some include portrait, landscape, twilight, easy settings, automatic settings and so on. In addition, it has a face detector and a couple of completely bizzarre features to do with smiling - one where you set the camera to "detect" when someone is smiling and it will automatically take a picture. I've never really found much use for this feature, as I always have to smile like an absolute maniac before the camera detects my smile. The other feature is even more strange, you detect someone's face, then take a picture of them. you can then alter their smile, so that they are smiling more - the "level 5 smile" looks absolutely demented. I have no idea what sony were thinking when they included this feature, but I find it good for a laugh. It's a relatively cheap camera, and personally I couldn't be happier with it.
