I know this because my mate has got one he is always watching DVD now. It dose really sound like your at the cinema the sound echo’s around the room, the only problem is if you turn it up to nearly top volume the sub starts to vibrate. I've had my DAVSC5 now for six months after some light-fingered person broke into my house and stole my DAV-500, it is an insurance replacement. So far so good! It looks good; it's small, curvy, silver (aren't most electricals these days?) with a nice looking blue LED display on the front that when not in use looks like a mirrored piece of glass. I use it from watching DVD's on, enhancing my normal television viewing and playing CD's through. For 5 years I had a Kenwood seperate system (basically I bought different pieces from different shops to make my own stereo).
