Advantages: quality, crisp sound, great looks, can easily hide away Disadvantages: power output is quite low, needs more mid range
I bought the sony satelite system about 8 months ago. I did have a sony 5.1 system before but decided to change it as i had just bought a new plasma and wanted a surround system to compliment the looks of the plasma mainly (my tv's piano black as is the dav subwoofer).
I knew the quality of the dav-is 10 was there but when i tested it i thought the power output was quite low but at the price it was the best option for the subtle, cosmetically smart looking surround that i was after.
This system is not a powerful, in your face surround sound. It's a quality sounding, subtle looking crisp system - less powerful than my previous sony..
It looks brilliant with the tiny satelite speakers which really do hide in your room - especially with the skinny sony stands you can buy (70 pounds for the pair - well worth it).
The subwoofer ...

Advantages: DVD R/W, HIGH QUALITY, BEAUTY, GREAT VALUE Disadvantages: DOES NOT MAKE COFFEE
with features at a great price. A lot of scratching on my head was done before I decided that the Sony Vaio NR10 was the one for me.
It was quite a battle in the end between the Dell 1520 and the Sony NR10 Laptop as they both offered great value, but the Sony just had that extra bit of sparkle about it to make me part with my cash
SONY VAIO NR10
First of all the Sony Vaio NR10 has a superb 15.4" 1280 x 800 high resolution screen that is truly stunning to both look at (very slick indeed) and use, then there's a massive 2GM of ram (memory) which is over twice that of my previous Laptop. The state of the art processor 'Intel Pentium Dual Core T2310 / 1.46 GHz' is another very strong point as it now allows me to surf the internet extremely quickly, almost effortlessly and cuts out all the stress out of online activity.
The DVD±RW (±R DL ...
Advantages: Portability, quality, style, etc etc! Love It. Disadvantages: Battery does make unit tilt backwards a bit (but not really a negative!)
I have owned this fantastic netbook for 9 months now and I take it with me everywhere. I absolutely love it! I bought it solely for internet access as I like the odd bet when I'm out and about (!) so I can only really comment on this type of usage. Where shall I begin. Well the NC10 looks gorgeous, mine is the glossy black colour and it opens up to a more than generous keyboard which is brilliant for those emails and the keys are perfectly responsive. Then there is the large 10" screen with fabulous brightness and clarity. Perfect size. Bought a nice protective pouch to keep the unit in and then just pick up and go! Battery life is outstanding. I get easily six hours internet access on one charge. The other great point is that the NC10 only takes a minute to boot up and then you're online! BRILLIANT product. LOVE IT! My favourite ...
