The DRX-700UL also comes with a CD containing the (award winning) Nero software suite that allows you to create a whole range of music/video& data CD/DVD projects - THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF NERO SOFTWARE - I've used it for video DVD's, mucic and data CD's and it's pretty intuitive and full featured. The DRX-700UL certainly seems to do most things, claiming (in the Sony documentation) to work with: DVD-R/-R DL/-RW, DVD+R/DVD+R DL/+RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-Video, CD-DA, CD-ROM (XA), CD Extra, Video CD, Photo CD*, CD Text, multi-session (!) I've used the DRX-700UL on some CDR's and some DVD+R's (4.7GB) and have had no problems, no burning or buffer errors (the drive has a 2MB buffer). Enter the Sony!

Advantages: Packed with extras, looks good and feels good.

Sony are one of the newest companies to venture into the world of DSLR`s, having been producing some quite excellent point and shoot cameras for many years this is a move that most people in the photography world had expected to happen a long time ago and a lot had feared the day it did happen too. The reason many photographers feared Sony entering the DSLR market is simply that it would be hard not to get drawn into what they had to offer but they feared that Sony might find the market too challenging and bale out leaving many photographers with cameras that they could not upgrade and would struggle to find lenses and accessories for. A Great System from Sony

Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online

Sony's Playstation 3 is thier third go around in the Video Game business. My console reviews usually consist of reviews in the following categories Controller, Graphics, Multiplayer/Online, and Game Library. Much like the Xbox 360, i'll also be reviewing the Design of the PS3. The design of the PS3 is the more classy of the three new consoles. The PS3 is a black square system with a curved top. While the design is beautiful, this system is very big, matching the 360 in terms of size. The system also offers Blu-ray but, in my opinion, that should not be the only reason you should be spending $400-500 on this system.
