A lot of people say it doesn't matter how much you spend on something as long as it has a good brand name. Other people say it's stupid to waste money on buying a brand name and a cheaper model will do the same job and cost you less...

When it comes to technology it's worth paying out the extra money for a Sony. They have been making TV'S, DVD players and much more for many years and because of this they have come up with a fantastic DVD player.

The first thing you will notice about this player is it's design. It's small so you won't have problems finding a spot for it on the TV stand or even ontop of the Television. The second thing is the lovely colour. I'm a big fan of silver when it comes to televisions and other technology products.

There are a selection of buttons on the front that will come in handy if you can't find the control. I hate players which have big ugly buttons all over the place but Sony don't have this problem and have grouped them in one corner.

The main feature of this model is not only can it play DVD's it can also play CD/RW, VCD disks which is great if you want to create a sildeshow on your computer and show the family on the television.

If you have CD's or MP3 CD's this player will support them too!

While this player will cost a little extra then a normal DVD player you have to look at the fantastic design and quality. I have had no problems playing my DVD's and also love the design.

If you have a home theatre system like I do then run out and purchase this because it will complete your set.

I would like to see Multiregional on this player as I now have to keep my other player handy if I want to play my American DVD's.
