i first bought the Sony Picot DVD player before i left for my first year at university... i wanted a dvd player that was stylish and affordable as well as doing what it says on the package. the dvd player is as good as any other and the remote is easy to use. another good advantage is that it is light weight and can easily be moved around, this is good at university as you can watch dvds in communal areas, your own room, someone elses room... anywhere! i liked the way that the cover of the dvd can be altered as you can put in any kind of picture or pattern into the insert of the clear plastic cover. was definately a good buy!!!
