This is what to expect from such a well know company, with such a good reputation. I bought this a few months ago to use as a DVD player in my room, so that i didnt have to keep transporting the one from downstairs all the time. If you're like me and dont have the space to keep a big box next to the TV then this is great instead of a standard size one. The size is the main reason i bought it, because my room is cluttered and if I had anything else in their I would scream! The player itself, is wondeful. I have taken it round a few friends houses that don't have a DVD player so that we could watch some movies. It is easy to transport, all you need to do is unplug it from the TV and pop it in your pocket. Just joking it's not that small. The quality that the player produces is brilliant considering the size of it. The quality is just as good as my Hyundai one downstairs. You can make your own fascias for it but I dont do that, but it would be handy for someone that likes to personalise everything. It doesnt have a lot of features, but it has more than you really need. The player is DVD-RW/-R (Video Mode), DVD+RW/+R, and MP3/CD-R/CD-RW playback compatible.
When you open the box you see it has the following things:
DVD Player- This is the actual player (you need this for it to work)
Instruction Manual- This contains all the information that you will need to get your player up and running
Remote Control- It's the 21st century. You don't have to get up to change the volume anymore!
AV Cable- This is how you connect the player to the TV. This is instead of the usual SCART cable.
AA Battery x 2- These are to make your remote control work!
The player comes witht he following features:
-CD-R/RW &MP3 CD Playback -Precision Drive 2 -DVD-RW/-R (Video Mode) DVD+RW/+R Playback -MP3/CD-R/CD-RW Playback -Headphone Jack with Volume Control -TV Virtual Surround - 4 Surround Modes -DVD/CD Text -Dolby Digital and dts Coaxial Output -Advanced SmoothScan and SmoothSlow modes -Instant Replay
If you do a search on Pricerunner you will see that the cheapest price is £75 from some place called T.E Roberts
