...I received my SonyDVP-FX720 as part of a special with my purchase of a Sony Bravia 40 inch television. Needless to say I was not expecting much. It was a nice surprise then when the tiny ice white unit arrived on my doorstep, delivered two weeks earlier than the promised date.
The device is really small, the screen and clarity is pretty clear for this type of device with a screen of 7". It is clearer than it at first appeared. The built in speaker is nothing short of thunderous (when you consider the size of the unit) and the car charger and additional remote all work as expected. The remote is very handy and a nice little bonus.
This device is so handy and reads so many formats that it has replaced my bigger older and less useful DVD player. Less visible and more versatile, thats what I call technology advancement. Nice work Sony!...

...hundred songs on it and use it with headphones, plays quite loud but does not have the best quality sound.
All up a great unit, I am very very pleased with mine, great features, and all the accessories you need included in the box except a carrying case, no biggie though well done Sony, a real winner....

...I dont own this one but i do have an earlier model of sony portable video which i bought last year, i was excited by the idea of portable DVD players and it just attratced me, and i bought it. And i was happy coz you can use it as a day to day DVd player and also use it watch Movies when you are on your bed or specially when you are travelling or going out of station so it helps to entertain you when you are on the move, and sony always deliver good products when its comes to quality i feel sony is the best. as these Dvd players picture quality is awsome Sound quality is very good. so sony comes as a perfect choice for portable DVD players....so go for sony.......
