I'm Kathryn and I live in South Wales with my boy Jeff, our cats Compo and Meeka and our new puppy Cadi. I love reading (absolutely anything), films and listening to music.
I hope you enjoy my reviews as much as I enjoy reading yours. Cheers!!

Too good to be true... a Sony multi-region DVD player for so cheap! Well, that's what I intially thought anyway. Serves me right for not trusting amazon.co.uk.
Delivered for free and just in time for Christmas usage, the DVP-NS330 is probably one of the best beginner DVD players your hard earned cash could be spent on at the moment. Although a friend of mine who bough the same model had some trouble when her four year old TV was playing some of her DVD's in black and white. (This turned out to be a problem with the age of the TV not a problem with the DVD player!).
As with most Sony products, the player comes with cool, crisp lines and the unmistakable Sony style. The build quality is good, although it does feel a little light when you first remove it from the packaging. The mechanism is quiet and efficient, and the LCD display is bright enough to be seen even through the smoked glass doors cabinet.
The remote control is a little ugly (although easy to use and well laid out), but with the 330 model it is silver, which is a bonus as last time I bought a Sony DVD player the remote was black and did not match! The picture is sharp and the sound clear. Although I hear a gold plated scart lead improves this further I really don't think this is necessary.
I also recently had a load of holiday snap put onto dis by Kodak and was chuffed to find that these play on the DVD player in a slide show format. Very impressive.
Another plus of this unit from Amazon, is that it plays mutli-region discs, handy for those dummies that also ordered Region 1 dvd's from Amazon.co.uk (i.e. me).
A Sony multi-region player for less than £80, slim-line good looks and excellent performance to boot, which you could set up and be watching discs from any region within 5 minutes. A bargain, for which I owe Amazon (and of course Sony!) my gratitude!
Happy watching.

My partner swears by Sony. We've just had a new DVD player by them & it is great. K x

Glad you're happy with the kit, but your review could have had maybe a little more detail. An exact price would have been good, and a few of the features of the machine...nonetheless, well done ~ Cheers ~ Steve

Sounds good... I'm ready to chuck my DVD player through the window, so this will definately be one to look at! Love, Jai. xxx.
